Michael J. Burns, CEO and President
Burns founded the company in 1999, driven to cultivate America’s number one service provider to the cable industry. He pulled together his “A-Team”, a diverse group of senior management professionals, each specialist in their own right. With more than 20 years of hands-on expertise, Burns has a gift for building strong personal relationships and creating solid client bases in markets throughout the country. Prior to founding Consolidated Cable, he served as Regional Vice President for Communication Resources Incorporated (CRI) where he was in charge of the company's Southwest Region. There he fine-tuned the art of providing installation, audit, and collection services to some of the industry's leading MSOs. Burns supervised all start-up operations throughout the Southwest, including hiring and training of new employees, procedure implementation, new system budgets and equipment purchasing and distribution. His dedication and commitment to client satisfaction is incomparable, and his vision for what is possible in this industry is an inspiration. Burns is a charter member of Westbound Bank where he currently sits on the board of this Texas-based financial institution.

A great communicator and relationship-builder, Marks’ client services roles expanded and he began working with some of the industry's leading outsource organizations. Prior to Consolidated Cable Solutions, Marks was Director of Client Services for Viasource Communications. From 1998 to 2001 Marks was responsible all internal and external marketing and communication strategies, during which time the company acquired seven field contracting firms and executed an Initial Public Offering— which grew the company from $25 million to $270 million in annual revenues. Marks joined Consolidated Cable in 2001 and swiftly expanded the company’s footprint to include Miami, Fort Lauderdale, West Palm Beach and Melbourne while adding door-to-door sales to the company’s service repertoire. Marks efforts landed Consolidated Cable in northern California where the company currently has operations in Sacramento, San Jose and Fresno.
